NAVEGAR – Companhia Portuguesa de Navegação Internacional S.A., established in 1993, has as its object the exercise of the maritime transport industry, including, in particular, long-distance, cabotage and coastal navigation, for the transportation of people and goods, ship chartering, as well as activities that may contribute to the development or completion of its corporate purposes.

The company has close links to the German company John T. Essberger GmbH & Co. KG (a company belonging to the Rantzau Group). It is a company with over 100 years’ experience in operating chemical tankers.

At the end of 2024, its fleet consisted of 24 tankers and 2 container ships.
