HISTORY
"ALPACO - Sociedade Comercial de Papeis e Cordas, Lda." was established in September 1982. In the beginning, the company’s activities were mainly related to the import and export of commodities such as paper and strings, with a social capital of 450.000$00.
In 2002, with the entry of a new partner, "NAVEGAR - Companhia Portuguesa de Navegação Internacional, SA", Alpaco’s social capital increased to € 15,000.
On the 7 th of June 2004, Alpaco has changed its name to Alpaco Trading Ltd, as well as its purpose.
From this date on, ALPACO extended its activity of trading in the search for equipment and spare parts for ships through the requests of the FirstLink Group, SCMA - Sociedade de Consultores Marítimos, Ld.ª, based on the cooperation agreement between the two companies.
MISSION
Its object consists in the wholesale and retail trade of various goods, import and export, representations, as well as trade agent of various products, focusing in the area of trading of industrial equipment.
VISION
Apart from the trade of commodities, its core business is focused on providing the best conditions to shipowners, shipmanagers, shipyards and agents, using its role of trading in search of equipment and items at the best price and quality assurance.

Being a company dedicated to the procurement of equipment and goods for shipowners, its activity focus on the representation of the best proposals and guarantees of best conditions of quality and price
